1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the research, data, and insights provided by Trafalgar Analytics (whether via this website, email newsletters, or downloadable reports), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Nature of Content and Services
The views expressed in our publications are those of the authors and editors alone. Our reports are independent research contributions intended to inform public debate; they are not intended to be used as a basis for specific investment or commercial decisions.
Trafalgar Analytics provides expert analytical insights. While our published reports inform broad strategic thinking, they are intended for general information and do not constitute bespoke consultancy, financial, or legal advice tailored to a specific client’s circumstances. Formal consultancy services are subject to separate, dedicated engagement terms.
3. Research Integrity and Reliability
Trafalgar Analytics is committed to the highest standards of research and data integrity. We apply rigorous methodology to ensure our insights are based on the best information available at the time of publication. However, as our analysis often relies on evolving third-party data and complex variables, we do not guarantee that all datasets are exhaustive or that they will remain unchanged as new information emerges. Our publications are provided as an expert resource without a formal guarantee of absolute completeness.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Trafalgar Analytics provides expert datasets and analysis as a resource for informed decision-making. We accept no liability for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage resulting from the use of our material; users should exercise their own professional judgement when applying these findings.
We shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings, whether arising directly or indirectly.
Our total aggregate liability to any user for any claim arising out of or in connection with our public research services shall not exceed the lesser of £100 or the total subscription fees paid by the user to Trafalgar Analytics in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. Intellectual Property and Publication Rights
5.1 Author Warranties and Consent
By submitting a manuscript, article, or associated materials (the “Work”) to Trafalgar Analytics, the submitting author warrants that they act as the authorised representative for all listed co-authors. The submitting author certifies that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the Work, agreed to its submission, and consented to their inclusion in the author list.
5.2 Grant of License to Publish
Authors retain the copyright to their individual contributions. However, upon the acceptance of the Work for publication, the authors grant Trafalgar Analytics a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to format, publish, host, index, archive, and distribute the Work in any digital, print, or electronic media format.
5.3 Integrity of the Permanent Record & Post-Publication Matters
The authors explicitly acknowledge that upon formal publication, the Work becomes a permanent part of the scientific and scholarly record. In accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics and academic best practice (outlined by Trafalgar Analytics' 2026 Editorial Contributorship Review guidelines):
The license granted under Section 5.2 cannot be revoked, cancelled, or terminated by any author following publication.
Subsequent organisational departures, changes in professional affiliation, or interpersonal disputes among authors or former contributors do not constitute valid grounds for the withdrawal, deletion, or retraction of a published Work.
Trafalgar Analytics reserves the sole right to determine whether a published Work should be amended, corrected, or retracted.
5.4 Permitted User Sharing and Attribution
Unless otherwise stated, all published articles, text, and charts may be shared by the public, provided that clear and prominent attribution is given to Trafalgar Analytics and the respective authors. Users may not alter the content, data, or accompanying disclaimers in any way when sharing the Work.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
